Items that I know to contain lies are subject to deletion.
I have to put this policy into effect because there are some people who are trying to make names for themselves on this forum by telling lies to discredit others with the hopes of propping up themselves.
Historically I have dealt with lies on this forum by either refuting them or ignoring them. I have found that if I refute them they lead to more lies, which is very time consuming for me to address. If I ignore them then people are left to believe them.
I think it's just easier to delete postings I know to contain lies. I spend too much money to promote this forum as a service to Chicago taxi drivers to allow people to try to damage it and the people who read it and post here.
