Regarding the strike, I'm hearing that the marketing surge the AFSC has done in the last few days is having an impact and that there is a sentiment among some drivers to strike. Of course, there is always that sentiment among drivers before a strike is planned. The only difference in this case is the marketing dollars poured into this by the AFSC coupled with the ripping down of posted information in dissent.

So the word of the strike is definitely out there. Whether or not the strike is effectively carried out is another story. Perhaps the potential problems that may be caused at O'Hare, given the holiday travel, will be enough to give the AFSC what it wants - to negotiate on our behalf.
