I have just fitted a new stainless exhaust downpipe. The company that made it earlier in the year, told me they only had one size. It turns out it is made for a 1.3 B series engine. I later found out that they did actually have a 1.8 engine size, so they re-made it for me. Could be the reason my car seems slightly down on power. Hopefully when she comes out of storage all will be revealed. Just have to sort out the engine running on problem then.
As for the paint. I do not know where you live Andrew, but St Helens Paint have a spectrometer and also mix the paint there and then. Will do acrylic, cellulose (shhh) and two pack, in aerosols.

I'm near enough in Portsmouth. St Helens would be a hike, but after reading your thread you've given me an idea to try. I've found a local firm that does paint matching - Www.Express-paints.co.uk. Will give them a go and see what they come up with.

Hope the colour matches when you get it done. Don't know what colour you have, but make sure the part you take in has not been in the sunlight. The ultra violet fades colours over time. I took the small panel from the front, that fastens to the radiator surround (if you have painted the inside of it that is).
