NG Key Ring

Hi All

Just an update. Now managed to get all the front lights working, a combination of poor earths, blown bulbs and faulty bulb holder, so can now start on the rears. The indicators and brake lights work, so just the rear lights (could be fault bulbs again but guess I can't be that lucky). Then the instrument panel lights to repair. None working so will have to check out wiring and fuses (does anyone know where the fuses are located). It is a TF built in 1983.
Finally is there such a thing as an NG Key Fob. I know it is not as important as the other items but will need to get to the little finishing bits some time in the future and the sooner I enquire, the sooner I will get the answer.
Thanks once again to everyone for your help so far, good to know there is help and advice around.

Mel

Re: NG Key Ring

Hello Mel - auto electrics can be a mystery at the best of times ! and with a GRP tub the extra earth returns just add to the potential confusion.
Fusebox would most conventionally be under the bonnet nearside skuttle, but all depends on the whim of the builder - and if you have to ask the question then presumably it's not that obvious.Good luck with the search.
NG keyfobs were a part of the Club Regalia at one time - if there are any left then Mark Stacey will be the man (I will ask him to email you) Otherwise somebody may have a spare - you could put a wanted Ad on the website (let me know) regards - Chris

Re: NG Key Ring

Hi Chris
Thanks for info on fuse box location.I have finally found it on the drivers side bulkhead, hidden below the steering column (very small, with only 4 fuses) but it had one blown fuse which supplied the rear lights, which now work. Only the off-side headlight & main beam to go.

I will put an advert on the wanted section of the website for the key fobs (& wire wheels, which I am looking for).
Thanks once again.
Mel
