New ChangiNGear

My wife is a little concerned that we may not be allowed to attend the 2016 National as we have a Pantry
(See page seven) Sorry eds, no offence meant.

Re: New ChangiNGear

You beat me to it! I was going to put something similar but that would be milking it for all it's worth, butter to just ignore than churn things up...

Re: New ChangiNGear

Hi Guys
Just goes to show that one reads what one expects to see.
The exact same typo was in the July edition (page 9) and nobody flagged that up !!!

Re: New ChangiNGear

Don't worry you're doing a fine job! Spelling mistakes are something I usually notice... we all tend to make them, not so bad on newsletters, forums and Facebook posts, but recently had to cringe when a specially commissioned piece of glasswork was awarded to a friend to thank her for all the work she had done as a volunteer "secretry". I shouldn't mention another friend's tattoo that had his daughter's name mis-spelt!

Re: New ChangiNGear

Which reminds me of my early days at work when a young lad was proudly showing his tattoo that he had saved and endured so much pain for in support of his favourite football team. It was not until mid morning that some unkind soul gleefully enquired who Livepool are! Unfortunately the tattoo artists attempt at inserting the vacant letter were far more noticeable in its presence than its absence!

Re: New ChangiNGear

Despite all the micky taking it is a very good magazine produced under difficult circumstances.

Well done Chris and Su. It is testament to their hard work and the high standard of the magazine that people really do read it in great detail.....

Keep up the good work it is appreciated.....

Regards

Paul

Re: New ChangiNGear

E I am sorry, we call it banter around here, and I am reasonably sure no offfence was taken, however if this is a serious technical forum I shal sit in the corner and shut up

Re: New ChangiNGear

Hi Steve - no offence taken at all !!
At least it shows that you read the mag.
Paul Gray saw you original post, and didn't catch your drift to start with.
He was horrified that you might have sold your NG and bought a Lada !!!

Re: New ChangiNGear

Thank you. That was the sort of response I was hoping for and what a forum is all about, lively advice, help, observations and banter about any subject although I promise not to ask any questions about tractors!
