NG TD Area's to check

Hi, I have only recently submitted my membership in anticipation of my purchase of an NG TD WHICH gets delivered next month, what I would like to know is what areas should I check before I pay the balance on the car, I have asked the usual, such as leaks, rot.....its diner car was a 1.8 mgb. If anyone can help i would appreciate it. Thanks
