Giving the 'B' a bit more Brooom

Hi there, I am looking into getting a TF with the 1800 B engine, I want to give her a bit more grunt. Can anyone give any advice over the pros and cons of fitting either a gas flowed head and better cams over fitting a supercharger to the B? and if anyone has supercharged their B engine.

Regards,

Tom

Forget it, go straight to a V8. Then think about supercharging, and maybe then twin turbo's too.
Then look at the space that you have to cool the beast.

I thought I read somewhere that Findhorn Cars were experimenting with fitting a supercharger, may have been in the owners club mag.
Unless you can get the supercharger bits cheaply, then the gas flowed heads would be the best bet.
I would have thought the Rover V8 would be a better bet.
Loads of engines/parts available to give 135-350+bhp and they come with the best soundtrack.
