Beaulieu International Autojumble

Forum's quiet...

Are any of you planning on visiting the Beaulieu Autojumble next weekend 9/10th Sept? I'll be heading there with Peter, my father on Saturday. We hope to see you there - rain or shine and in an NG! If you are interested in meeting up, do contact me and i'll e-mail you my phone number.
Top of my shopping list is a decent vintage rocker cover cap - real chrome on real brass. We have have just bought one and it wasn't cheap, it is nasty and it was made in China and you guessed - it's not brass! I'll be sending it back to the supplier.

See you Saturday
Cheers,

Dave

Re: Beaulieu International Autojumble

Hi Dave,
I would love to be there but as it is Donington KC show next weekend I don't think wifey would like it. I hope I don't have a repetition of last year and breakdown again. Hope some members do make it to Beaulieu though,
Best regards
Mark

Re: Re: Beaulieu International Autojumble

Hello Mark,

How was Donnington? Beaulieu autojuble was very worthwhile. As i expected 1 day was not enough, lots amd lots of walking, but some great finds and lots of parts purchased for the NG's. Very relaxed and freindly and a good european turnout listning to the many langauges and accents.
It's on the agenda for next year for sure. Didn't see any other NG's though - sad as it was beautiful weather.

Re: Beaulieu International Autojumble

Hi Dave,

Sorry Dave I might have misled you, Donington is this coming weekend 17th, and wifey would not have been too chuffed if I went AWOL for 2 consecutive weekends.
I,m glad you enjoyed it at Beaulieu, I find there is something therapeutic about sifting the autojumble stalls, and if your lucky enough to find what you need it's a bonus.
