Hello Mike,
For leaded LRP and 97 unleaded super start with 14 deg at idle (max 34 at full advance)
For oridinary 95 unleaded start with 11 deg at idle.
(31 at full advance)
Many factors will affect this - condition and setting of distributor, type of distributor - chrome bumper or rubber bumper distributor they were different and chrome the better because of the advance curve. Condition of carburettor needles and jets, mixture setting, camshaft fitted, std or advanced with an adjustable pulley.....for std engine teh above should be a good start - try it and see and then tweak + or - a degree or so. Don't go beyond max 34 at full advance.

An excellent book.
