Some clients initially seem to lack sufficient focus to educate. They may have many issues in the beginning and have trouble remembering what they can do and why it is important (motivation). I've been thinking about this quite a bit recently. Currently, my inclination is to first educate them on increasing their focus. Once their minds are clearer they may be able to understand their situation better and more fruitfully address other health issues. Or is it better to take the multi-faceted approach? What do you think?
