Spring Equinox (Ostara) Ritual 2009
Green Gate Grove will sponsor the official CST Spring Equinox Ritual on March 21, 2009 at Paul and Heidi's house in Smiths, AL. The ritual will begin at 1:30 pm EDT (12:30 pm CDT) so please be there by 1:00 pm EDT (12:00 pm CDT) so the ritual can start on time. A potluck luncheon will follow the ritual so please bring your contribution for the potluck. Plates, plastic wear, and napkins will be provided. There will be an egg hunt for the children after the potluck so please bring baskets for the eggs. Also, if possible, please bring colored plastic eggs with a treat of some kind inside
(NO CHOCOLATE-IT MELTS AND GETS GUNKY).
Reverend Cathy Rankin will be the ritual leader.
Special Request: When the CST officers met with the liaison for the Warriors in Transition Brigade at Fort Benning, GA, he mentioned how much the healing soldiers enjoyed Girl Scout cookies and home baked goods in their community kitchen. Please bring home baked goods to be taken to our injured soldiers to enjoy. Many of them are here away from friends and family while they are healing so things like home baked goods bring them a sense of home and a feeling of being appreciated. If you can't bake, then pick up something yummy at a local bakery. Thanks to all of you for helping CST support our Wounded Warriors.

Take JR Allen Parkway (Hwy 80) west to Hwy 280. Turn Left onto Hwy 280 East. Go to the next traffic light and turn Right onto Russell Co. Road 427. Continue until you come to the Citgo gas station on the right and Castle gas station on the right. Turn Right onto Lee Road 240 (Stafford Road). Go approximately 5 miles. Look for the Big Cat gas station on the right, it has a sign that say “Tanning” with a sign that says “Short Stop” under it. Turn Right beside the gas station onto Lee Road 235. Look for the entrance to
Hidden Creek subdivision on the left. Turn Left into Hidden Creek onto Lee Rd 959. Go just a little under 0.1 mile and turn Left onto Lee Road 960. Go to the 10th house on the right, 575 Lee Road 960.
From South Columbus:
Go across Oglethorpe Bridge on Hwy 280 into Phenix City. Continue until you reach the first intersection beyond KMart and Applebee’s. Turn Left at the traffic light onto Russell Co. Road 427. Continue until you come to the Citgo gas station on the right and Castle gas station on the right. Turn Right onto Lee Road 240 (Stafford Road). Go approximately 5 miles. Take I85 to Opelika, AL. Exit onto US 280 East. Continue towards Phenix City on US280 East. You will pass the WalMart on the left then the turn-off to US 80 on the left.
