Vacationed in Belize City for a few days with my family. Stayed at the radisson and decided to book a private tour of cave tubing, zipline, and altun ha mayan ruins. This was a full day package that was well worth it. Thanks for accommodating my family at such short notice. We had fun and we are thankful.

Belize Zipline Canopy Tours

My husband and I (both in our 50s, in reasonable shape, from Florida) were first time zip liners and this was a terrific experience by the Belize Zip Line Canopy Tours! I can\'t recommend them more highly. They were the FIRST zip lining company in Belize and have recently seen a downturn due to the cruise lines changing ports. If you go to Belize itself, YOU NEED TO GO WITH THIS COMPANY! We signed up online, before our cruise in March 2018. Day was sunny and bright, somewhat humid. Transportation to the park was comfortable (tour bus) and tour guide spoke about Belize and its people on the way (about 70 minutes). [The transportation company is separate (although you just pay one fee) and does not reflect Beliize Zip Line Canopy Tours.] Once we arrived at the Park, we found the zip line guides to be THE BEST! They outfitted us directly and spoke English very well. Everyone in our small group (8 ppl) tried out the zip lining on a \"beginner\" line first before proceeding to the other higher platforms and lines, so if the beginner line isn\'t for you, you can stop there. There were seven lines altogether, one you go about 40 mph, two over a shallow river, and lots of steps in between to get to the platforms. I am scared of heights, but only got tense on the last platform. Safety was #1 and the guides were friendly, helpful, and always checked our equipment, telling us how to approach each line. Lunch was included - delicious BBQ chicken on the grill, rice and black beans, and coleslaw. Perfect and tasty! Served by the local ladies. Great experience for both of us! We want to keep these guys in business, so please consider them on your next trip to Belize - the REAL Belize - the original Belize Zip Line Canopy Tours.

Mayan Ruin Tours From San Pedro Belize

Mayan Ruin Tours From San Pedro Belize – We were on San Pedro for a few days and decided on this excursion after a few days of diving. Waking up early for the first water taxi was challenging, but we all made the first water taxi to Belize City. Glenford was at the water taxi waiting for us. We grabbed a few snacks and headed north for the ruins of lamanai. We drove approximately an hour to the boat. We had a short restroom break and boarded the boat for slow paste river cruise to the ruins. We saw a lot of wild life along the river as cruised. We saw iguanas, howler monkeys, a wide variety of native birds, and some large crocodiles. When we arrived at the ruins we slowly hiked through the jungle from one temple to the other as our tour guide told us about the history and plants of the area. The tour of the sight lasted almost 3 hours. We then had lunch under a nicely built shed. Lunch was home cooked rice with a the richest chicken I ever had. We were also served with sodas ( No alcohol because it’s a family friendly tour service ). After lunch we were given some time to walk around the shopping area and headed back to where we started. The boat ride back was exciting. It was a fun day of mayan tours and river cruise. Highly recommended

Belize Cave Tubing and Zipline

I lead a group of 14 on a cruise with a stop in Belize. I had no regrets booking the Western Caribbean Cruise for my group. Belize was the most exciting port. We did cave tubing and zipline with this company. First be early and push your way to one of the early tender. We got off our tender and exited Terminal #1 and instructed, and walk to the Light House. Our driver was waiting for us there. We introduced ourselves and boarded the van. We drive about an hour to the zipline, but we were told by our driver that it’s best that we do the cave tubing first since we were the first there because the caves get very crowded. We voted on that and decided on the cave tubing first. Albert was our guide for the cave. We hiked about 20 minutes. It a slow paste hike with a lot of information about the fauna and flora of the area. Albert also told us about the caves and their history.
Now, when we entered the cave Albert towed us and he pointed out some strange formations in the caves. It was relaxing and refreshing. After the cave we got into dry clothes for the zipline. This was a blast! We zipped over the open river that we tubed on. This was fun fun fun fun. After the zipline we were served with a local dish of rice and beans with chicken. This dish was well prepared. On the real side, this is the best rice I ever had. We then drove back to the port with a stop at a grocery store for some local beers. The driver told us we can drink in the van as long as the driver is not drinking it’s not a problem. The beers were so good so we made two more stops for refill.
We were dropped back at the Cruise Port with plenty of time to walk around and do some shopping. We had a fun day with this company and we recommend their services.

Belize Private Tours – Our cruise to the western Caribbean was fantastic. Most of all, Belize Cruise Port was the blast! We booked through this company after reading some rave reviews on this guest book. We booked cave tubing, zipline, and altun ha ruins. We were off the ship on the second tender ( YOU HAVE TO BE PUSHY ) and walked to the Light House as instructed. Our driver was there waiting for us. Boarded the van and started a fun day. Arriving at the zipline was a bit frightening because it was my first time. We geared up and zipped through the canopy of the rain forest. Woooooooow. That was thrilling. Zipping over a river had me going wild shouting for God to help me through!
After the zipline we cave tubed and had lunch. Drove to the ruins and had an informative tour. We were not rushed through any of the tours. Our tour guides were very polite and patient with the kids. We were dropped off at the port and had time to walk around and do some shopping.
I recommend this company for their high standards.

Myself and some friends cruised the Western Caribbean with a stop in Belize. We booked cave tubing and zip line with this company and had a great experience. Our tour guided waited for us at the Light House and promised. We were off the ship early as instructed. We had a fune time and it was only us on the tour. We had no other groups with us.

It was a fun day and lunch was good too. The beers were good as well. I recommend this company.

My family flew into Belize on the Southwest Airline. We arrived at 11:00 am. Customs and Immigration worked so fast, we were out in just a few minutes. We we stepped outside the airport, our tour guide was there with a sign that reads my name. We loaded our luggage to the van and off we went. We stopped at a local restaurant to get a bite for the road. We drove about 45 minutes to the zip line site. When we arrived there we had a short restroom break and we were geared up for the zip line canopy tour.
Now I was a bit nervous about the height of the platforms, but got over it with the advice of our tour guide. Going off the first platform was scary but fun. We going from one platform to the other high speed. The two most exciting parts of the zip line tour was zipping over a river and walking on a suspension bridge to the next platform. Woooooow! This is extreme fun. I will never forget this fun experience with this company.
After the zip line tour we stopped for a few beers. Our tour guide told us we can drink in the and we did just that. We slowly drove to the water taxi in Belize City. When we arrived in Belize City we unloaded our luggage and boarded the water taxi to San Pedro.
It was the first time my family did the zip line. And most of all it felt so good to get off our flight straight to do our first activity in Belize.
Thanks for the first and best experience in Belize.
