Some of you may remember that I was asking questions re air filters on the TA. Well I have purchased a pair from Sppedograph that have fitted, just. they have an offset which is at the bottom which has allowed them to slope inwards a little more and I've had to dispose of the chrome dome nuts, fit a nylock and file off all the spare thread [poking up beyond the nut (filter compressed). They actually fitted without the need to file but the front nut on the front filter was in danger of hitting the inside of the bonnet when the engine moves on the mountings. I have yet to drive the car so usual caveats apply and I'll report back here once it drives. PS happy to measure the filter if snyone wants me to do so.
