My father Alfredo H. Dungca, served with 3d Platoon, Delta Company, 2d Battalion, 14th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division in Vietnam Sept 1967 - Sept 1968. He recently passed and we are trying to lay him to rest in Arlington cemetery. However, all of his purple heart medals are missing from his records so he is currently not eligible. Is there anyone of his teammates out there who have his name on their purple heart orders. Your assistance is greatly appreciated in helping this veteran receive the honers that is due to him. Thanks so much.

I am looking for anyone who may have known my uncle, Gary Martin Smith, from Detroit, Michigan. He was killed in action on May 26, 1967 at Long Binh. He was part of A CO, 2ND BN, 14TH INFANTRY, 25TH INF DIV, USARV. (I really don\'t know what all that means though). I was 7 when he was killed. He never got to have a family of his own, his brother (my dad) and parents are gone, my younger brother doesn\'t remember him. I do genealogy and I just want to make sure he\'s not forgotten. If anyone knew him and has any information or stories, PLEASE contact me!

Anyone who was at Phu Cuong Bridge at that time or at FSB Kien (Keene) thereafter during that time. And also those who still had their tour until end of year. My squad leader was Sgt. Davi. I was in 1st platoon.

Thanks, Philip Duer

I was the Four Duece Platoon leader from January 1969 to July 1969. While writing a personal history for my children and grandchildren I was attempting to get better pictures of FSB Keene than I have in my possession and stumbled across the Golden Dragons Website.

Read a posting from Pamela Cadle Taylor and would like to let her know that I served with Gladstone in 1969 and even remember when he was assigned to our unit. I know Gladstone is one of the same after all how many men are called Gladstone. I would really like to hear from him, I am sure he will remember me. I can be reached at 517-467-6620 in Michigan. Looking forward in hearing from you Steve

My father, Steve Greenberg, served in coA 2ndBnl 14th infantry from March 67 to Nov 67 ( rifleman/automatic rifleman)then transferred to HHC 2nd Bnl, 14th infantry until April 68. He was an E-5 at time of discharge. My father has already passed but did not share much information about his experience with me while he was alive. I am hoping to find contact with someone who served with him that can give me more information about his time in service. In addition, when I was young I found two Purple Hearts in his sock drawer that he said were his; one from shrapnel and one from white phosphorus. When he died, the medals were not listed on his DD214. I don’t believe he would’ve told me they were his if they weren’t and I remember shrapnel left over from the original wound migrating from his body when I was in high school. I requested his service records from the national archives and they didn’t send anything accept another DD214, his reserve discharge. We can only find one of the Purple Hearts and I want to get the other one re-issued for a memorial I want to make but I need to find some evidence that he earned those medals to request them. Any help regarding any of this would be so greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance,
Alex Greenberg
